...by seeking to create a church where all believers CONNECT, DEEPEN, ENGAGE their Faith in God.
The call of Christ is to make disciples: (Matthew 28:19-20)
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
What is a disciple?
A disciple is an apprentice and a student of Christ. It means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. The journey of discipleship is to love God, love people and serve the world. We summarize it with the words: connect, deepen and engage. This journey leads us to “share Christ’s love and make disciples.”
How do I become a disciple?
We believe that discipleship is more than just being saved and coming to church once in awhile. Discipleship is living all aspects of the journey. First, we connect with Christ and trust in him for our salvation. Then, we begin to deepen in our faith through authentic relationships. Finally, we engage our faith through service, mission, and witness for the transformation of the world. This journey of discipleship transforms our lives and the world in which we live. This is what discipleship is all about.
