DEEPENBrimfield Faith is committed to creating relationships that deepen our faith in Christ. 
Over the past several months, we have been talking a lot about growing deeper in our faith and participating in small groups. This summer we will be training our first set of DiG leaders with the goal of launching DiG Groups in the fall. In preparation for that, I want to share with you what these DiG Groups will look like.
What is a DiG Group? DiG stands for Deepen in God. They are sermon-based small groups that consist of 8 – 16 people who gather weekly with the goal to deepen their faith in Christ. Each group will engage in fellowship, study, and prayer as they deepen join together.
Why DiGs? We believe that spiritual growth happens when we learn to love God and to love others through Christian community. While Sunday morning worship begins our relationship with Christ, spiritual growth continues when we have friends to support us in our Christian faith. DiG Groups will help us to develop significant Christian relationships. They will provide the opportunity to share life and its struggles with people we can trust and rely upon. In the Christian life, this makes all the difference.
How do DiGs work? DiGs will meet in three 10-week quarters from late September through early June. We will take a break in the summer to practice Sabbath and renew ourselves. DiG Groups will be lay-led and lay-driven. They will meet in the home setting to foster a casual, open atmosphere.
I realize there are plenty of unanswered questions about how the DiG Groups will work. More information will come over the next several months. Please keep the DiG Groups in prayer and plan to join one this fall! Email Pastor Curt for more info.
 The C2 Ministry is the member care ministry of Brimfield Faith. It exists to spiritually nurture those who are in need of special care. Christ encourages us to tend to his sheep. Whether it be someone in the hospital, nursing home, or home bound, we want to extend caring in the name of Christ to everyone.
