Meet the Pastor

Rev. Curt Bissell

Curt and his wife, Michelle, welcomed their son Caleb into the world this October. They have a dog named Sienna and enjoy sports, walking their dog, playing their Wii, watching good movies, playing games and reading books. These days life revolves mostly around Caleb!

Curt has a B.A. in Business finance from Baldwin-Wallace College and is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon. He earned a Masters in Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary. After growing up in Hudson United Methodist Church, he served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Campus Crusade for Christ in college. He did several internships at Metro Church South of Middleburg Heights before interning at Medina United Methodist Church in Medina, Ohio. In 2006, he served as pastor of Paradise Hill UMC in Ashland, Ohio. He and Michelle joined Brimfield Faith UMC in July of 2007.

Curt is passionate about worship, small group Bible Study, and reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He longs to see lives transformed into the image of Christ for the sake of others through radical encounters with the Holy Spirit and faithful obedience. He invites you to join us for worship on Sundays.
