Lead Pastor: Curt Bissell
Curt is a graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary and has a wide range of church experiences. His wife, Michelle, and he are excited to be in Brimfield serving the Lord.  Curt's enthusiasm and vision for Jesus are contagious and helping lead the Faith church through an important time of transition. Pastor of Deepen Ministries: Tom Poremba
On May 23, 2010, we welcomed Pastor Tom Poremeba as our new part-time Deepen Pastor.  Pastor Tom is a retired United Methodist pastor having most recently served as senior pastor of Ravenna UMC. While he will assist Pastor Curt in a variety of ways, he will primarily be doing visitation: in homes, hospitals and nursing homes.  Pastor Tom will also assist in the development of the DiG Groups. We are very excited about having Tom and Cathy a part of the ministry at Brimfield Faith. 
 

Church Office Assistant: Angie Graham
Angie has been Faith’s secretary for the past ten years. She brings excellence, energy, and efficiency to the offices of Faith. She handles the daily dealings of the office, and compassionately cares for each member. We are truly blessed to have Angie be a part of the team here at Faith UMC. Director of Music: Vanessa Vesely                                                                                                                             
Vanessa has been at Faith since Spring 2009.  She grew up in Edinboro, Pa., and holds a Bachelor's in Music Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and Master's in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University.  Vanessa is grateful for the opportunity to grow musically in this position while exploring a diverse range of musical styles.  She is also pleased to welcome and encourage the talents of musicians of all types to share their gifts while worshipping God.  Vanessa's husband, Blaine, and daughter, Nora, are feeling at home in the welcoming church community.

Brimfield, OH
Brimfield Township is located just south of I-76, east of Akron and south of Kent. Brimfield is the fastest growing community in Portage County. Once a sleepy and intimate farming community, it is now teeming with life and activity. A new elementary school opened fall of 2007 and several large shopping centers are currently being built. www.brimfieldohio.com
